Store Policies



At RVing Outpost, we want things to go smoothly and for there to be no surprises for anyone. So please read over our store policies on privacy, shipping information and product returns:


OUR PRIVACY POLICY

At the RVing Outpost, we have a very simple privacy policy: We don't share your information with anyone else, period. We have many friends and on-line acquaintances that order from us and rest-assured, we don't divulge that information, either. If YOU want to talk about your purchases from us, of course we appreciate it, but we will NEVER divulge the fact that you have purchased anything from us without your consent.

Please note that as a customer of RVing Outpost, we DO add you to our own private e-mail list. We send out e-mails approximately one time per month. Occasionally, we may send one two per month, but your in-box will NOT be inundated with e-mails from us as we know how annoying that is! Because we believe in responsible e-mail marketing, you can easily opt-out of our e-mails and never hear from us again! Of course, we hope that won't happen!


SHIPPING POLICIES

Unless noted otherwise, all orders received prior to 1:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on regular business days are shipped SAME DAY resulting in extremely quick delivery. Occasionally, due to circumstances beyond our control, orders may ship the next day, but we do everything we can to ship your order the same day. Orders received after 1:00 p.m. on Fridays, weekends and national holidays are shipped the following business day.

All orders are handled personally by Greg, Julie, Aaron, Erica and Abigail (and sometimes Julie's mom!), from start to finish and are shipped directly from our store in Abbotsford, Wisconsin. Occasionally, we offer products on our website that we don't carry in-store and have drop-shipped (that information is clearly listed in the product description). Rest assured, those items are few and far between! Under normal circumstances, what you see on the website is what we have available in our store (unless we recently sold out). When you place an order, the item is removed from our shelves and personally packed for shipping to you.


RETURN POLICY

Our return policy applies to both IN-STORE and ON-LINE purchases.

You may return most new, unopened items sold by RVing Outpost within 30 days of delivery for a full refund (less shipping charges). We will pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item). Items that are opened or returned more than 30 days after delivery will only receive a partial refund. Unless it is a result of our error, shipping charges will NOT be refunded under any circumstances.

UPS tracking information or USPS Delivery Confirmation will determine delivery date, without exception.

All party lights/awning lights are checked prior to shipping. Please note that most of these lights are similar to "Christmas lights" and it is entirely possible that the mere aspect of shipping may have caused a bulb to loosen and the string to no longer work. Please carefully pull each bulb (and it's "holder") from the socket, and gently push it into it's "holder" and ensure that the wires on either side are long enough to cause a connection with the socket. Please be sure to check ALL BULBS prior to calling or returning.

The cost of return shipping is your responsibility unless the return is a result of our error or the product is defective.

Some items will receive only a partial refund. The amount of your refund depends on several factors:

If you returned only one item from a multi-item shipment, you will only be reimbursed a partial shipping fee but only for the damaged or defective item you returned.

Partial Refunds will be issued for the following items:

IF AN ITEM IS NOT RETURNED IN ORIGINAL USABLE PACKAGING (it's been torn, etc.)
YOU WILL NOT BE ISSUED ANY REFUND WHATSOEVER UNLESS THE ITEM IS DEFECTIVE
(This is completely at our discretion).

There are absolutely NO EXCEPTIONS to these policies so please be cautious when choosing a new vent lid, replacement lights, etc.
