Dutch Ovens
SAMPLE RECIPE:
Grandma's Great Potatoes
6-8 medium potatoes
1 garlic clove, minced
1 pint sour cream
1 teaspoon salt
10 oz. cheddar cheese, grated
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 bunch green onions, chopped
2 tablespoons melted butter
3 tablespoons milk
1/3 cup stuffing mix crumbs
- Cook, peel and grate potatoes
- Add sour cream, grated cheese, chopped onions and garlic.
- add milk salt and pepper stirring to distribute throughout potatoes.
- Press into oven, smoothing top.
- Stir butter into stuffing mix crumbs and sprinkle on top.
- Bake with 8 coals on the bottom and 14-16 on top for 35-45 minutes.
- Serves 10-12
